Mother Dog Abandoned by Owner, both Legs Crushed by Train, but Still Tries to Care for 4 Small Pups

When you witness the horrific fate of abandoned stray dogs, it’s difficult not to weep. However, not every mother dog is as bold, tough, and loyal to her offspring as Si Bao.

This dog, who had been “mercilessly abandoned” by its owner, was engaged in a terrible accident in which a train crushed her rear legs. Until Si Bao gave birth to four incredibly beautiful and healthy puppies, who effectively became the driving force in this unhappy mother dog’s existence, her life appeared bleak.

Si Bao restored her spirit after recovering the love of life after having children, and she has since maintained a resilient and strong attitude to care for her kids. Si Bao went around on his two front legs while keeping a watchful eye on the youngsters.

When the Jill Robinson-founded nonprofit Animals Asia rescued his family and designated this heroic mother dog as an animal ambassador, Si Bao’s good fortune only grew better. As a consequence, Si Bao has been transferred to the organization’s headquarters where he may start a new life with his kid instead of struggling to support himself by collecting food scraps from travelers along the railway track. Only Muddie has managed to survive.

In addition, Lelly has changed her name from Si Bao and hopes to have motorized prosthetic legs placed so that she may move around more readily. When the crew found Lelly’s four pups, three had already perished away from high fevers, leaving just Muddie.

Lelly is presently enjoying life to the fullest in her job as Animals’ “Asia animal” ambassador.
